Beautiful fish. The only problem is the last 2 orders of 3, 1 was dead. I reported this immediately after receiving them and no one got back to me. This last order I received 2 live ones and the head of one. Not sure if it died in transit and the others ate it. Anyway, didn't bother reporting it due to never receiving a reply last time.

Everything was great except the fish were MUCH smaller than expected. But my fault for not asking first.

Can’t blame Joes Aqua, they shipped the Pleco on a Thursday to arrive the next day FedEx. Unfortunately the Pleco got delayed in Tennessee and didn’t arrive to a local FedEx facility until 2:45am on Saturday. The facility is closed for pickups and deliveries on the weekend so when I received the pleco on Monday (4 days after it was shipped) the Pleco was dead. Joe was supposed to ship a replacement yesterday, when I inquired yesterday I was informed it would ship today. I haven’t received notification that it has shipped yet. I have no doubt it will be shipped I just wish it was shipped when I was told it would be shipped since I’ve made arrangements to receive it.

These arrived very healthy, and not at all shy. I put them temporarily in an old tank at 77 F with miscellaneous Corydoras, tetras, whiptail cats etc. filled with assorted driftwood, plants, algae and things, tons of hiding places, and figured that I probably wouldn't see much of them for a while. But by the next day they were moving around in full light and eating whatever I was giving the other fish (although they mostly stick to the wood and algae on the glass). These are small juveniles and seem fairly social with one another; they tend to stay close together often.

They came happy and healthy. They’re great at hiding!

Been on the fence about adding this pleco to my collection and surely wasn’t disappointed, the color pops and it’s not as shy of a pleco then I thought. The quality is there at a decent price. Will definitely purchase from Joe’s in the near future.

Fish arrived in good shape. They are in a 40 gallon South American breeder tank with various tetras And two tiger plecos. They are doing well and have Adjusted.

I bought 5 of these young L397 plecos. They have done very well since I purchased them a few months ago. They eat like pigs and will even come out in the light sometimes to eat. They are beautiful and healthy. If I had more tank space I would buy more at Joe’s super low price. Get them while you can. Highly recommended!

IF YOU'RE NOT SURE ABOUT BUYING FROM JOE'S IMA REPEAT CUSTOMER ABOUT 10 TIMES OVER NOW. ALMOST EVERY TIME IT WAS A PRE-SALE ITEM AND I NEVER HAD TO WAIT MORE THAN A MONTH AND IT WAS WELL WORTH IT. THEY ALWAYS TAKE CARE OF YOU AND THEIR SHIPPING PRICES ARE JUST UNBEATABLE THAT'S PLAIN AND SIMPLE I DON'T EVEN WASTE MY TIME LOOKING ANYWHERE ELSE IF THEY DON'T HAVE IT AT JOE'S I DON'T NEED IT. I am very pleased with my experience regarding how i received this L397. He was actually a replacement for one of his brethren L397 that didn’t fair so well. Joe’s was very understanding and shipped me this little guy. I was impressed on how he was carefully packaged and shipped overnight. Happy to report my new L397 is doing great and seems to be thriving amongst his tank mates.

Hands down the best shop on the internet! I will personally never shop anywhere else when it comes to fish! They came in an incredible box that was like an ice chest inside of a cardboard box. The fish are perfection no nipped fins no health issues everyone made it without any issues I put in a pre-order in it only took a week or so if you can't wait then you're missing out. It's not a long wait and most definitely worth it! 10 stars I am putting another order in this week for my next variation of pleco. L397 wow!! The blue-eyed long fin lemon bristle nose plecos just unbelievable! I'm obsessed!! They have so many different kinds that most people aren't even aware of when it comes to smaller versions of plecos. Beautiful pleco arrived in great condition. He’s hard to find sometimes in my tank but when he makes a appearance he’s an attention grabber. Shipping was very fast overnight.

Great deal, excellent experience. Got 6 of these little guys the end of Dec. Night temp was 6, Day temp was 21. Shipped with a heat pack Priority Overnight. Got them around 2pm all live and almost immediately ate simple flake food. Now have them eating Broccoli stem, zucchini and green beans. They really don’t appear to be picky eaters. Pics don’t do them justice. They have great color and acclimated rather easy. I have no concerns doing business with Joe again.

Sorry I tried to include a photo, but the little guy is not available at the moment. The L-397 is doing great! He was on the glass yesterday and gave me a good look at his belly. Nice and full of food. No better sight than when you get confirmation your new fish is eating. An eating fish is a happy fish. He is tankmates and already best buds with my baby L-264........ Also. Baby 397s for 35 bucks?! Thats a steal. You will not find them cheaper elsewhere. All told , at my door, for under 70 bucks. Any other place you would pay 70 dollars BEFORE the shipping costs. Keep up the excellent work!

This was the third order I've had with Joe's Aqua. They have always been prompt with questions I have before ordering, and shipping has been smooth each time. Really excited about this latest delivery, as three weeks out and all of the plecos are looking good, and have acclimated to the others in the tank *DONT FORGET - many plecos like their wood options* I look forward to my next order, but have run out of space and will wait until these juveniles are at least 6months older before considering my next order.
